2 REQUIRED TEAM PROJECTS3 OPTIONAL INDIVIDUAL EXTRA CREDIT
1. WORKING PAPER.
(Contrôle contenu) Your team must organize your high-quality, cited notes from the assigned videos* on this page along with our in-class notes into this downloadable Cornell note-taking system template.

Your team will submit your final draft of your Cornell notes, extra credit and performance evaluation at the end of the semester in PDF format.

*Your specific videos will be assigned on our first day of class.

2. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION.
(Examen final) Included at the end of your Cornell notes template is a real-world performance evaluation used for annual reviews.

Our final 3 hours of class time together will be reserved for filling-in your performance evaluation.

Your Cornell class notes and the performance evaluation are two separate grades.

Grades will be based on the quality, comprehensiveness, organization, clarity of thought and applied critical thinking.
A. PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS. Take these FREE 3 personality tests to learn about yourself (and show me your results) and receive up to 1 bonus point on your final grade:
– HEXACO Personality Inventory
– Dark Triad Personality Test
– NLSS Assessment

B. LINKEDIN RECOMMENDATION. Obtain two recommendations from working professionals (former bosses, colleagues, teachers…) and receive up to 1 bonus point on your final grade.

C. INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEW. The Fortune 40 under 40 list is “an annual selection of the most influential young people in business – disruptors, innovators, rebels, and artists.”

Included at the end of your Cornell notes template is an interview outline. Contact and conduct a 15-20 minute interview with any member on the 40 under 40 list and include your detailed interview notes in your team working paper and receive up to 2 bonus points on your final grade.

IMPORTANT!

  1. Accurately cite ALL sources. Plagiarism will be severely penalized; entire group will lose points. If you are unsure, ask your professor.
  2. Conflict and mediation are a normal part of team projects, especially in multi-cultural environments. For any conflict that cannot be handled within your team, bring it to your professor during class.
Any questions/conflicts not brought to your professor are your responsibility.

In other words, you will not be penalized for team conflict, especially if it is brought to your professor. However your grade will likely suffer if you let the conflict damage the quality of your team project.
